  • Entering and editing text (including along and within a path), and creating and editing text outlines
  • Using text labels and text boxes
  • Creating your own patterns
  • Measuring and constraints and guide objects
  • Hiding, locking, and masking objects
  • Transformation and blend tools
  • Using layers, filters, crop marks, and compound paths
  • Defining colours, saving as swatches, and spot and process colours techniques
  • Setting stroke and fill attributes, and creating and applying gradients
  • Adding arrows, and making and saving selections
  • Moving, duplicating, and aligning objects
