  • Creating, saving, opening and closing a file, spell-checking and navigating through documents 
  • The InDesign approach to page–layout
  • Exploring the interface, and overview of tools & palettes, zooming and printing  Using Text frames
  • Importing text files and working with tabs
  • Using character and paragraph formatting
  • Indenting text, running text around images, creating threads, and using find and replace
  • Creating, setting, applying and importing character, paragraph,parent and child styles
  • Overview of graphic formats, frames, and links palette
  • Importing, resizing, cropping graphics, and using in-line graphics
  • Creating formatting and importing tables (including word and Excel tables).
  • Imported tab delimited text files, and filling alternating rows or columns
  • Setting margins and using a layout grid to create custom guides and multi-column layouts
  • Using frame-based & Page- based columns

Non-accredited
Audience Profile: 
No previous experience of Adobe InDesign necessary
